Samba

Our primary use for Samba is to share directories on a UNIX machine as a Windows share, so that Windows clients on the network can browse and mount the share. Shares can be easily setup to included the users home directory.

The default location of smb.conf is in /usr/local/samba/lib

Edit smb.conf so that shares are only available on the LAN interface.
