DocBook XSL Stylesheets

Once you have created your DocBook XML, you can use the DocBook XSL Stylesheets to transform your document into a HTML, PDF, or HTMLHelp document.

Common Errors

Here are some errors that we’ve encountered in the past.

No adjustColumnWidths function available.

If you see an error message like this:

Making portrait pages on USletter paper (8.5inx11in)
No adjustColumnWidths function available.
Processing terminated by xsl:message at line 203
make: *** [default] Error 1

Check the extensions jar file is in your CLASSPATH. Documentation on this is found in doc/extensions.html of the stylesheet distribution.
